1) May I know what should I do in order to have my graph move at the same time as my level increase/decrease?

the problem I facing now is the graph drop immediately to number i selected.

Could you provide a bit more detail on the issue that you are having with your current VI? Have you tried moving Wait out of the for-loop?

The data for the graph doesn't really make any sense. You're always plotting the same value. What are you trying to graph? Are you trying to create a "real-time" XY graph? If so, take a look at the examples that ship with LabVIEW. There's one called "Real-Time Chart". Or, are you trying to create an XY chart? If so, again, take a look at the examples that ship with LabVIEW. There's one called "XY Chart".

Thanks, Dennis, for pointing out this is an off-shoot of that thread.

Hi Dennis,

I'm really trying alot ways to make the system work the way I want. But Labview is really kind of difficult for me. I really appreciate any kind souls out there could help me. the graph look very wrong when I select level.

What I actually really to do is to create a lift system monitoring which I could control the velocity of the lift and a graph displaying the timing that took for each level.

I tried to ask my friend but no one really know much about labVIEW and i'm running out of times as due date is out soon.

Please kindly advise on how could i make this work properly. Thank you so much.

Hi Andy,

I had tried moving the wait out of the for loop. Example, if I select level 5, the LED 1 will light up first, then follow by LED 5. LED 2, 3, 4 will bypass.

I need a real time chart that timing will follow the flow of each level travel.

I had also tried adding shift register and moving the whole XY graph functions into for loop. it still doesn't work the way I want.

If you use straingage load cell, couple of DAQ is available: http://sine.ni.com/np/app/main/p/ap/daq/lang/en/pg/1/ps/20/sn/n17:daq,n36:13

Then, use DAQ asssitant to acquire weight.
