activeX event - wait till callback finished

@ aeastet -

thanks a lot for the effort, but I can't open your files - it says you are using version 9.0 of LabView, and mine is 8.6 ...

Any chance you can spare a minute to save them compatible for me?

Thanks,

Michal

For the fire event you can add anything you want to the data part of the cluster. So you could do your calculations inside the feeback vi and pass that through. You can change the string out for a numeric or you can add extra fields you will just have to remake the control to your vi. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Hello, aeastet,

thanks a lot for help, your vi gave me some ideas, and I might be able to find a workaround for my purpose.

There are several things still that I don't understand in what you did, but I'll work it out gradually. It would take too much of your time to ask about them separately. 🙂

Thanks again,

Michal

Feel free to ask I will get to them as I can. I do have a full time job but I check here often to get ideas and share what I have learned over the past 10 years. List your problems or questions and I would be happy to help.
