adding new parameters to existing front panel in Labview v. 5.0

I am attempting to add a new testing parameter to an existing Labview application.  It runs on Labview 5.0 in Windows 95.  The computer opens the .vi files in Notebook - and I do not know how to open them in the correct G editor to make the changes.  Any suggestions/ comments would be much appreciated!!Thanks

Hello KHickey,

start LV5 first and open your vi from there.
Or try right-click on your vi and 'open with...' (this works at least on Win2K, I have no computer to test this on Win95).
