"Amplitude and Level Measurements" VI in Labview 7.1 Base

In this link (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/D5FF5E51B93A3023862571350076CCC1) it's said that the "Scaling and Mapping" Express VI and the "Amplitude And Level Measurement" Express VI aren't included in the Base or Evaluation version of LabVIEW 7.0 or 7.1.

However as a work-around for the Scaling and Mapping VI, we may use the Waveform Scale and Offset.vi.

How about the "Amplitude and Level Measurement" VI? Is there any VI having similar functionality?

What functionality are you looking from the Amplitude and Level Measurement Express VI?  There is not one-one replacement you can use.  However, there are definitely ways of calculating the DC and RMS values of a signal as well as finding the max and min points, etc.  Please be more specific in what you are trying to accomplish.

yes, what i meant was another "express VI" which is able to directly output DC, rms values etc.

ok. so, i got it. using the base version,i should make use of base functions etc to calculate rms values etc 🙂 hehe.. thanks
