anyone had done a labview program for x10 CM11A for status request?

The 1 i got from www.vicontrols.com is only a very basic on and off control vi. what i want is to send a status request to 1 device and then read whether it is on or off using labview. i have the protocols but i am very blur with the codes. can anyone help me please?

The device i am using are CM11A, PLCBUS 4808UK and PLCBUS-P2027UK. all of these are 2 way communication devices. CM11A as the transmitter 4808UK as the transcevicer P2027UK at the receiver I need a labview program which can know whether the device is in ON or OFF mode. The 1 i found at www.vicontrols.com is only a very basic program which turn ON/OFF device. What i need is to know whether the device is ON or OFF remotely using labview Thanks for reading, hope i have made myself clear.

Can you provide the program that you have that turns the instrument on and off? I'm not sure how you are communicating with it, because the protocol information you provided looks like it requires a provided interface. Did the instrument come with software?
