application labview

I have made an application executable with labview 2012 to distribution, and I have read about how create a protecting licensing by NI License Manager DSK, but it is only for labview 2014+. I will be gratefully if somebody know and send me tips about how would I be able to protect this app LV2012?, or necessary will I need update to 2014?. Best regards AH

A few things to note:

  1. The first supported LabVIEW version in Windows 10 is 2015 SP1.
  2. The first supported LabVIEW version in Windows 11 is 2022 Q3.
  3. Installers and executables are only guaranteed to work on the operating system they are built on. For example, a Windows 10 installer or executable may not work as expected on a different Windows version (e.g. Windows XP, Windows 8, or Windows 7). Reference: Running Executables or Installers on Different Windows Versions

I recommend you consider upgrading your LabVIEW version since a distribution built using 2012 won't be able to run on any modern computers with active lifecycle Windows.

"Supported" in this case means "tested and verified". I've run Lv2011 on W11 without any issues.
