You have buttons on the toolbar that set alignment and will also space things out equally or remove spaces from between the elements.

 

Also, use the cursor keys to nudge things around until they line up.

The diagram cleanup gets you close-ish.  There's a bunch of alignment/distribution tools available too.

And yeah, arrow keys will move you 1px, shift-arrow will move you 8px at a time. 

 

I will admit I spend more time "prettying up" code I post here than I do normally.  Presentation n' all that.
