background colour for indicator boxes

I'd like to alter the appearance of my front panel indicators, from the usual grey colour, to black, with bright green digits (similar to a lot of instruments that we use). I can alter the text colours no problem using the menu options and colour pallet, but the background colour seems to be a probem.

Any suggestions?

With which indicators do you have a problem?

Normaly you should not have a problem. Allthough not all indicators behave the same.

Hi datalog,
you can customize your control. Right click on it and select Advanced -> Customize. If you click on the wrench you can resize it.
The result could be like this

Hope it helps. Mike

Hey datalog,
you can customize the default Labview indicators by choosing the color of the background with the tool box, and then, select the text, and choose the color of the text. (see attached file)
Or you can create your own command/indicator.
Let me know if it helps you.
Best regards,
Vincent

Here's the only reference I can see to editing colours. Am I missing something?
