bar graph border

I changed my xy graph into a bar graph.  The bar on the graph doesn't have border.  Is there a way to generate border around each bar?  Also, would it be possible to add the x or y value on top of each bar just to make things clear for the user?  Thanks!

and then later...

"Anyone?"

Without "rolling your own" graph, the border is something that is not built-in.

The labels can be handled using annotations.
