Guys,

I have consider "Double stripping" as solution to the Dboucher's existing code.

But there are lots of way to do this kind of operation. One is to use "Application Directory" function.

ALL: thanks for the help. The solution was in the use of the "Application Directory" as opposed to the "Strip File". 

As for the error clusters: Thanks for catching that one too. I managed to include them in the other routines and sub vi's and simply overlooked the Initailaize routine. Duh !
