bmp2jpeg on linux-labview

Is there a way to build a jpeg from bmp without writing it to disk in linux-Labview (without the imaq-vi's)?

Hello Alex,

Since bitmaps arent supported in Linux, theres not much LabVIEW for Linux can do with them. There is no way to convert them into jpegs. For more info, see the following KnowledgeBase:

Why Can't I Import a Bitmap to a Picture Control with LabVIEW 7.0 for Linux?

If none of these suggestions help, or if Im not correctly understanding your issue, please reply with comments or answers to the discussion above and any additional information that may help, and Ill be happy to look further into it.

Have a nice day!
