Okay, we have acquired an old cDAQ NI-9172. How can we use this for LABVIEW 2018?
Firstly, the NI-DAQmx driver needs to be reverted back to version 17.5 as per instruction below:
https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019P2sSAE&l=en-GB
However, our next issue is the LABVIEW 2018 we're going to use is not compatible with NI-DAQmx driver 17.5, as specified below?
Please help advise us what can be done to resolve this?

You found all necessary documents.
This cDAQ-Chassis (discontinued in 2011: https://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/373117a.pdf ) simply is to old to be used with LabVIEW >= 2018.
Solution: Buy a new chassis.

I've been searching the NI website and can't find any pages that shows the compatibility of their devices with their LABVIEW software.
Please can someone point me in the right direction as my colleague has acquired some redundant devices (cDAQ 9172) that isn't compatible with LABVIEW 2018.
Please advise if the following devices are compatible with each other and that it will work with LABVIEW 2018.
1) Chassis: cDAQ-9174
2) module: NI-9211 - Thermocouple
3) module: NI9230 - EIPE AI
Thanks in advance.

Just have a look at the Readme of DAQmx 18.6:

Everything is running with that version
