can I exchange data between matlab 7.0 and labview 6.01

I can't exchange data between matlab7.0 and labview 6.01
I think labview 6.01 doesn't suport matlab 7.0.
and another question: does windows 2000 suport labview 7.1?I have installed the labview 7.1 in the windows 2000,but I'm failed

Regarding your second question (does LabVIEW 7.1 support Windows 2000) the answer is yes. Every version of LabVIEW starting from LabVIEW 6i (6.0) to 7.1.1 has supported Windows 2000. Please describe in further detail what happens when you try to install, are you getting a certain error code, etc.
