I'm trying to build a damper endurance test rig using labview for interfacing it. I'm using an arduino uno microcontroller with a shield for a dc motor which is used as the actuator.

Ok so have you downloaded the LabVIEW Arduino tool kit?

This will allow you to interface with the Ardino.

If you post back with specific questions then I will answer them if I can.  I am unable to tell you how to build the entire system.
