Can someone tell me why i cant locate the ma_one sided FFT sub vi from the vi according to the hierachy?

You really shouldn't start a new thread if you think this is related to the other thread. It's easier for people to help you if they know what you already know.

You can't find it because you're not looking in the right case. It's in one of the other cases. You should be able to find it by right clicking it in the hierarchy and selecting Find All Instances.

I'm not sure about converting the number back to complex. Not really my area.

If i have accidently corrupted the vi in the vi.lib. How do i replace it?

It should be located on your LV CD, probably inside a .cab file. You can either try doing a repair (insert the CD and continue using the menus) or find it yourself and replace it.
