Did you mean:

can't find DAQmx on All Function palettes

in the LabView 7 Express manual, it says that NI-DAQmx can be located by clicking on:
-Functions
-All Functions
-NI Measurements
-DAQmx

my question is, i don't even see All Functions and as a result cannot locate DAQmx. i've been trying to locate it on the Functions palette. i'm i looking in the wrong place?

thanks

I'm not sure what might be happening. The All Functions palette is the bottome right palette on the Function Palette. If that isn't showing up then I'm not sure what is going on. You might need to reinstall LV. I have attatched a screenshot of where you can find the "All Functions" palette. If it isn't there send a screenshot of your functions palette and I might be able to figure out what is going on.

It all depends on what palette view is selected (Tools>Options>Controls/Functions Palettes). I have turned off the Express view so I don't see the All Functions either but then I'm used to the old style and don't need it. From the functions palette, see if there's an NI Measurements palette. If there is, then the DAQmx palette should be under that. I

The path:
Functions
-All Functions
-NI Measurements
-DAQmx
is by assuming you are an express user and you are using the "Express" palette set.

The "Express" palette set and "Advanced" palette set link to each other. So regardless which palette set you choose, you should be able to find everything. But the path is different for sure.

So I'd suggest you use "palette search". This is the fastest way to find something on the palette. "Search" button is located on the top of the palette.

Yes, the screen shot shows you are using the "advanced" palette set.
