when I run setup.exe(version 8.2.1) on Vista 64bit, it shows message "TARGETDIR is undefined, the Directory table seems malformed, Aborting". I have no idea to to next step. Please help me! Thanks!
I hope you are doing well today! Where are you running this installation from? A CD or did you download an evaluation version online? I am assuming that you must be running the installation from a CD. If so, I strongly suspect that the installation build on the CD may have been corrupted. Did you try running the installation on some other machine? I would recommend that you contact the sales rep of your area and ask him/her to send you another copy of LabVIEW 8.2.1.
