can waveforms be overlayed with different timebases?

waveform graph
It is often necessary to overlay oscilloscope waveforms with different timebases, with T0's aligned.
Are there any routines for this?  Suggestions?
Thanks, you all are a great help!,  rh

Hi gone4fishn,

you can change the T0 of a waveform easily - just replace the value using cluster functions.
You can plot more than one measurement in a waveform graph, have a look in the manual or help window of this graph.

Yes, overlaying waveforms with the Same timebase works fine.  But if the timebases are not the same, say dX is 2ns on one and 5ns on the next.  The waveform graph only takes one dX.  To overlay with one timebase, one waveform must be modified in relation to time.

Is there a way to do this?   Thanks, rh

Hi,

ok, you are talking about 'time interval'.

So I made a small example. Here (LV7.1) I can plot two waveforms with different time interval as they should be plotted. See attachment!
