cannot add a function to favorites in the functions palette

Hi,

I use right-click on the function item, and <add to favourites>, but nothing happens, the favorite section stays empty

the very first time when I tried this it worked but not anymore..

Thx for any suggestion

Andy

Hi Mandel,

the favourite palette is stored by LabVIEW in the "favorites.mnu" file. It seems that this file does not exist on your LabVIEW installation, or has been removed from the default directory.

To check this out open "Tools >> Advanced >> Edit Palette Set.." in LabVIEW and right-click on the favorites palette. Select "Display Path to Palette".

It should be the default directory "..\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW xxxx\menus\default".

Regards,

Matijas
