cannot find web service under new project

Dear LabVIEW Users,

I intend to create a labview web application from scratch. Unlike step 2  mentioned here,

I could not find web service under mycomputer in a new project. I dont know if I am missing a package or something

Help me out here guys

The version of Labview is 2013 and it's a student edition

I think your issue is because you're using the student edition. This is what I see in LV2013 SP1 (Professional Development System license):

(Although looking here, the student edition is the same as the 'full' edition with the watermark - the 'full' edition does support Web Services according to this link: http://www.ni.com/labview/buy/)

it should be included in the student edition as it is a full edition with watermark.

Can you try to repair your installation or reinstall LV?
