cdaq problem

Hi everybody...

I have a strange problem with cDAQ 9178.

Until yesterday it worked correctly, then i disconnected usb cable and i connected it to another pc.

From this moment, the cDAQ stopped working correctly and the led ready is not green but it is switched off.

I thought that could be a driver problem so i downloaded new driver from the site of NI. The installation of driver seems to be ok but now the pc ask me for a file called nicsrkw.sys and the cDAQ is still not ok and ready led is still switched off...

Can someone help me?!

Regards

Giovanni

HI Giovanni,

there's a simple test: What happens when you use the original computer, where your cDAQ used to work fine?

When you say you "downloaded a driver": Which driver did you install? Did you install all drivers needed to run your program?

Best regards,
GerdW

In the other pc, cDAQ works correctly and ready led becomes green.

When i just connect usb cable to the other PC the led switched off...

But until yesterday cDAQ worked correctly on both PC.

I downloaded this driver

Hi nutty,

what kind of VI uses this cDAQ? Where is it intended to run? Why do you expect the other computer to run the same program?

How should an VI run magically by just installing DAQmx?

What kind of measurement are do you planning with your cDAQ?

Best regards,
GerdW

I didn't write the vi used by the cDAQ. The scope of VI is to measure leakage of filling valves...

It is strange... Because before to disconnect usb cable from the pc to connect it to my pc, cDAQ worked correctly.

After that i connected it to my pc and i riconnected to the other PC, cDAQ stopped to work correctly...
