change installed "LabVIEW Full Development" to "LabVIEW Student Edition"

I have installed by accident this product "LabVIEW Full Development".

But for license reasons I need "LabVIEW Student Edition"

Have I to uninstall "LabVIEW Full Development" completely and then install "LabVIEW Full Development" or are there more simple possibilities to change the product

My advice would be to uninstall all National Instruments Software (which will get rid of LabVIEW Full Development and anything it brought along with it) and install the (correct) LabVIEW Student Edition.

Normally, uninstalling LabVIEW has two steps -- you run NIPM and "select everything" (making sure "Products Only" is turned off), reboot, and then uninstall NI Package Manager.    Since you are going to install (the same edition of, I'm assuming,) LabVIEW Student Edition, you can just go to NI's Software site and choose the appropriate Student Edition to install.

Don't worry if a few extra files or folders from the first installation are still present.  "Being aggressive" when removing LabVIEW often leads to backing up your files and reinstalling Windows and all your other applications (I did this more than once, myself).
