clear xy graph...

Hi,

Does anyone know how to clear xy graph
at the beginning of a new run?

To me, the old graph stays on until next
update. But I really wish I could clear
that up when I hit execution button.

Thanks...

K.C.

Hi Kchen,

ou can create a local variable to that XY graph and then in the begining of your program you wire a cluster constant (all zeros). That would clear the stuff from the graph. hope this makes sense.

An example of this can be found by following the Resource Library menu to LabVIEW, then User Interface, then Graphing/Plotting, then How to Clear Charts and Graphs. It suggests loading the History Data property of the chart or graph with all zeros at the completion of the vi. I was struggling with the same issue just this morning. I gave this a try and it works beautifully. Good Luck.

it's just a property node. like if you were to run a macro then look at the code for it. this is what it would look like. Just do what A rafiq said and you'll be fine.
