Did you mean:

compare array and output common elements

WOOPS!!!  I apologize...I just quickly scanned the error message I got when I tried to open up the vi.  If I read it properly...it said, "labView load error code 9: VI version (8.5) is newer than LabView version (8.2)."

My bad.

Back to the original question, the blocks that are colored light green.  One of the blocks have "[dup]" in the lower right corner.  I don't see those block in the normal 'array' options.

Thanks,

hiNi.

Ahh, you are referring to the green functions in JCarmody's post.

Those are 'custom' VI's that he found in OpenG's forums.

User's can create VI's and then share them freely.

JCarmody, would you mind stepping in and telling hiNI where he could find those VI's?

Here are the OpenG array functions

The two he used were:

Remove Duplicates from 1D Array

Delete Elements From Array

hiNI,

This link will tell you how to install the OpenG functions.  It's a small investment in time, and the returns are fantastic. Smiley Wink

The important thing about this solution is that:

A) Jim should have used the Code Capture Tool :smileywink:

B) Both original Arrays should not have duplicate items
