compatibility of the version 1.45 with windowsXP

I am using LabView RealTime, my cartridge is PCMCIA-485, n°183884C-11 and the NI version is NI serial 1.45.
I have installed the windows XP version which seems not to be compatible? is it possible to download updates? Thanks

PCMCIA-485/1 Rev C is supported by 1.45 under XP, so I suspect there is something else going on. Does the hardware show in the device manager?
