compile Mac LabView for Windows & Linux

I have written a series of mathematical models for teaching physiology. They are LabView 5.1 programs on the Mac. Does NI or anyone else offer a service to compile Mac LabView programs into applications to run in Windows and Linux?

Hi,

just copy the complete VI from Mac to LabView for Windows (or Linux) and run.
Should work in most cases, only Mac-specific expressions like pathnames, filenames,
some characters have to be changed accordingly.

It sounds like what you want to do is create a runtime app in unix/
windows from your vi (i.e. no labview required). Right? I believe
there's a version of labview that creates runtime apps but I think
it costs more than the regular labview and I don't know if it'll do it
across multiple/different platforms. Did you check NI's tech
support site?

I think everyone else misunderstood your question. I don't have LabVIEW or Application Builder for Linux, but I do have them for Windows. I would be willing to compile your vi's into *.exe files for the Windows platform. (Provided that doesn't violate the NI software license, I'll have to check). I face a similar problem, I have LabVIEW for Windows at work, but a Mac at home. I would love to create little programs for personal use but can't afford to buy LabVIEW for myself.
