conection between Measuremet Automation Explorer and Labview (eng)

hello to all

I built a test stand with three "card's" with the assistance of MAX (Measure & automation Explorer) virtual,

Now I want to make the following.

I want to write in Labview the name of some of cards. Of such form that soon Labview says to me. In where is this card and his data (information, chanel number, card number etc).

As I can make the inquiry, between Labview and max. It is possible using of Labview?.

Can I get these data with Labview without inquiry on MAX?

The goal of this program, it is to be able to identify the cards that are had installed, without having to use MAX.

can be solved to this problem using activex or Visa?. I believe that Visa requires of a hardware,but I am working with simulations ( I don't have a hardware).

Depending on what kind of "cards" you are using the ModInst vi's my do what you want.   They work with NI-SCOPE, NI-FGEN, NI-HSDIO, NI-DMM, NI-RFSG, and NI-SWITCH cards and will tell you the what of these devices you have installed, their name and attributes.  If your cards use different drives you will need another solution.
