Did you mean:

contiuous voltage input, regulate voltage

When I run my system it goes over the +-10V voltage range. Accordingly, I would like to configure a circuit to lower the voltage output. In the circuit configuration, can I connect the ground part to AI- and make it differential? Or maybe there is another way?

If you know a way to lower the circuit or output voltage, please let me know.

When I configure the circuit, I don't know exactly how to connect it to the DAQ.

thank you

  • Which "circuit" are you talking about?
  • Why does your "system fo over ±10V"?
  • How do DAQ and "AI-" come into play? Why should that  ground connection make something differential?

You really need to describe your problem with more details and information!

To answer your question (literally): use voltage dividers or Z diodes…

Do you know why the voltage exceeds +-10V and looks like a square pulse? Is this a circuit problem or is it out of measurement range?

I would like to know why the voltage drops to about -11V when the system is not running.
Is it a calibration problem in the system?

When the system is not operating, the voltage moves slowly from -11V to near 0V.

Could it be a grounding issue in the circuit?

What hardware are you using to generate this signal? how about the software used to control this hardware?

Duplicated with voltage calibration?
