controlling a stepper motor with CNC driver, NI 6009 and LabView

I`m trying to control a step by step motor in only onw axis with a CNC 4,2 A driver through a NI 6009. I was told Labview will do the trick. But i haven`t used it before.

Can someone help me pls?

I can`t change the components since they were given to me and i don`t have the means to buy others so i have to use what i have.
