controls & indicators grayed out in SIT for RT targer

Hi all,

I am facing a problem in SIT. I will explain my problem. I am having a little complex model. I created a user interface in the host for the model and mapped the parameters using the SIT to the model and I ran the model in SImulation mode i am able to see the values in the host user interface. I didnt get any mapping errors and it worked fine.

Now i converted the model into DLL and added the DLL to the SIT for the RT target. I created mappings for the NI cards and built the application. When i ran the application in RT target all my indicators are grayed with an error message "invalid mappings to the controls of the model". Then I searched for solutions in NI discussion forum and i found on post which says that we should try the following.

1. Created test points for the signals which i want

2. Disabled the Signal Storage reuse and Block  reduction optimazation

3. checked for all the data types between the controls in the Host VI and the Matlab parameters controls.

But every time i built a new DLL and used them i am facing the same problem. I am new to Matlab and SIT. Any inputs would be useful for me proceed further.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments.  I have looked into this issue with the Simulation Interface Toolkit and I found some of the results that you did on the discussion forum.  After doing some research I was also able to find this Knowledgebase article: Grayed Controls and Indicators When Running VI Built with SIT.  I know that some of the solutions in this article are similar to the ones that you have already tried but there are a few extra solutions to take a look at.  I hope this information helps!  If you have further questions please let us know.
