convert Labview 5.1 programme to Labview 7.0

Hi,

I want to convert a Labview 5.1 programme to any Labview version later than that (Labview 6.0, Labview6.1, Labview7.0, Labview8.0, Labview8.2). All you have to do is open it in the new version and save it in that format (I have Labview 8.5 and I can't open it in it).

Yes, you need a version older than 8.5 to open a 5.0 VI.

Don't know why you posted this question. No one can help unless you post the VI you want converted.

When I opened this VI, there were two errors due to missing VIs.  One was "Serial Read with Timeout" (which I might not have installed on this machine, but you probably have on yours), the other was "Pressure1", which I presume you already have.

This was opened with LabVIEW 7.0, and then saved.

Hi PHM,

I tried opening your VIs in LabVIEW 8.2 but apparently they were not saved with a block diagram. Do you have a version of the VIs with block diagrams? Without them it will be impossible to upgrade.
