converting excel file to waveform graph in PDA

Interestingly enough, your PDA emulator looks entirely different from mine (the visual design is different)! I am going to do some more research to determine what the discrepancy is between our systems; most likely, updating some component behind the Pocket PC 2003 emulator will take care of the issue.

Maybe to help further, I've installed the following:

-eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0

-eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 SP4

-SDK for Windows Mobile 2003-based Pocket PCs

Though at first the device could not be started. So we edited the boot.ini file, at line "noexecute=optin" to "addexecute". The file can be found in the Control Panel-->System-->Advanced tab-->Startup & Recovery-->Settings-->Edit

Thanks for the help!

On my machine, I currently have eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 installed, but I am not certain if I have SP4 or not. I also do not have the SDK for Windows Mobile 2003-based Pocket PCs installed.

I have attached both screenshots of my device selection screen (comes up when creating a PDA project), and the associated emulator. When creating a PDA project, I select Pocket PC 2003 SE Emulator. Please let me know what your device selection screen contains (a screenshot would probably work best), and we can go from there.

Ok, ours is only the first edition, just Pocket PC 2003 Emulator. Normally we just select an empty project and add target and devices, is that the same?

Anyway, I've attached the screenshot below.

I think the next step is figuring out how to upgrade your emulator (and actual device selection) to the second edition. It would also be helpful to verify that your PDA is actually running Windows Mobile 2003 SE before upgrading; the issue you are seeing could simply be a problem with Pocket PC 2003 (non-SE) devices. The following article provides some information on downloading the Pocket PC 2003 SE emulator; please follow this link and let me know if you need additional help.

Hey, I have downloaded the second edition of the emulator, but the result is still the same. The negative values still remained 0. This is the link where i downloaded the edition --> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4953d34d-692f-4c87-ac69-cb235dbdad1d&displa...

And below is the screenshot of the emulator. The title changes to Pocket PC 2003 Second Edition but the look remains the same.

Could you please send me a copy of your compiled EXE? To access this file, right click on your PDA target in the Project Explorer and select Explore. I would like to see if this EXE behaves the same on my local PDA, or if we are seeing a target-specific issue here.

Thanks,

Ok, im not sure whether that is the one...When i right click the "Explore...", it brings me to the folder where i saved my files. There isnt any .exe file, i only found it in another folder...I also tried using other PDA to test it, but the result is the same.

Thanks anyway!

Thank you for attaching your file; I will take a look at this as soon as possible and decide where we should go next in order to get your PDA application up and running.

Thanks for helping out. I've recently upgraded to LabVIEW 8.2.1, and now the graphical display works. Smiley Happy
