could labview do analysis of captured video?

I am working on a project which design a robot to play guitar hero.

I know Labview can capture the video from a usb webcam, but can labview

do the analysis of the captured video and send the signal to the robot?

I know that LabVIEW can play Guitar Hero.  I've seen the video.

NI has the Vission Development Module which includes hundreds of image processing functions including pattern and geometric matching, OCR, bar code readers, object classification, and particle analysis.

Also check out this video, were Cynth Systems built a vision based guitar hero robot. But I don't think their robot can get a perfect score on the really fast songs so there is still room to improve.
