custom knob scaling problem

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi, i'm trying to customize some controls, but i've a problem with the construction of one knob. I've replaced the central image with one that look more realistic and now i want to resize the scale to better surround my new knob but i cant scale the "scale" 😞 After i want to be able to rotate better the needle and i cant chose the position of the needle. I attach the file so you can view and maybe help me to make this knob more confortable 🙂 Thanks!

Since you have changed the knob to 3 D in a Isometric view, the needle on the knob is no more flat. Use different skin where needle will be in the plane or write a code that normalizes for you. after reading knob value multiply by the scaling factor.

to customize your knob cntrl, click the "wrench" to show the "tweezer" icon.then you can do whatever you want with the image or knob properties, including streching the scale to rotate 360 degs, maximum range, ticks,no ticks, etc...btw, reorder tab is handy by placing objects in front or back of multiple images Smiley Wink

another free handy tool is "paint.net" for which you can clean up or modify your images...
