cyclic loading off of a load cell

Good evening,

I don't have a ton of labview experience, but here is what I am trying to do:

I have a motor setup that will lower a rod into a somewhat compliant material. The rod has a load cell inline with it. All of these things are hooked up to labview through a DAQ. I want to be able to input a sine wave and have the load cell output match the sine wave. I know that I will have to make the motor adjust to make the load cell behave like I want it to. Is there an example program I could look at that would be similar? How do I do this?

Thanks for your help

Hi Kristina,

you should talk with your collegue Leo before asking the same questions again in the forum!

Or you may continue in his thread on this very topic in the German LabVIEW forum...

Best regards,

But Leo does...

Are you in any way involved in the exactly same topic as Leo? Are you working in the same lab?

For me it looks like: you use the same setup (strain gauge test setup, using a motor to apply strain, sinosoidal force signal needs to be appplied, trying to control the motor with some PID or similar).

Best regards,
