Hi Adam,

I did some checking and was unable to find any drivers that we have made for Danfysik hardware.  It might be a good idea to contact them and see if they have any drivers in house that they have created.  You can also visit our Driver Request Page to put in a request to our R&D team.

As far as RS-232, we have a good amount of information on how to interact with devices using this communication.  Here are some articles that go over some general concepts of RS-232:

To do some basic testing, we have a couple examples that you can use to try and read basic data from the instrument:

Hope this helps!

Nick,

Thank you,

I did contacted Danfysik, they don't have driver  for LabView, rep send me a bunch of RS232 examples how to interface with devices but nothing particularly usefull for Danfysik, go figure.

I did found company who does testing of Danfysik systems and they send me a copy of the labView program they use with 488 interface.

I've try to use RS232 setting of the programm but it will not communicate with MPS.Our group of engineeres looked into this and could not resolve issue.( see attached)

I do have VB6 exe. which work with this unit but is only limited to ON/OFF output.

That's a very poorly written piece of code. Make sure your automatic error handling is on because that VI has none. Report back with any error codes you get. Also, check to see what terminator the instrument is set to use. The program is using a CR. You should also test communication with a different program such as MAX, Hyperterminal, Putty, etc.
