data acquisition vi crashes when it is building

This didn't happen initially, but after I started adding more things (renaming the channels, adding custom curve fits to it, etc) the Data Acquisition VI started to crash on me every time I tried to rebuild it. Does anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks.

I'm running Labview 8.0 and Windows XP.

you can try to copy the entire code into a new subvi. Sometimes it helps.

What functions did you add to the application that may have caused the crash? Were any of these a DAQmx function?
