Hello

I have a system with 3 compact fieldpoint rack and one pc.  I have to read the 150 channels temperatures every second

I have labview 8 and dsc module.

I will use this to replace three old paper recorder.

I want to store the data on a pc with an archive time of 10 days

What is the best approach for this application ( citadel database, shared variable, ... ?)

About data logging, it´s up to you, database might be more appropriate if you have a huge amount of data but then you´ll need the "Enterprise Toolkit" (it includes DataBase connectivity VIs).
You can also use txt files, I would suggest write a file for each day, then you have 10 files in your folder and you know that each file has 24*60*60=86400 lines.

About how to pass data from the cFP to the PC, it depends if your application is developped in RT, maybe it is not necessary...
If it is then there are a couple of discutions on the forums on the best way to transfert data.

Shared variables are easy to use but not really fast (when they work), TCP needs more code but is faster.
