data transfer between two FPGA boards???

Hi,

Just wonder if LabView allows data transfer between two FPGA boards? Say, a PCIe 1473r can only process image from camera, but without any signal output with this board.

To achieve the high throughput, would it be possible to use one FPGA board (the 1473r) to process the image, and pass a trigger to another FPGA board to output a signal (e.g. voltage output)?

Or, is there any FPGA image processing board with I/O?

Thanks,

Matthew

If you have PXIe boards on the same trigger plane, you can use Peer-To-Peer Streaming.

Thanks for your reply! Could you please kindly give me more info on the PXIe? e.g., website and link?

Currently I have a PCIe 7842r FPGA board, and I am thinking if I buy one more PCIe 1473r, those two boards can direct communicate and transfer data.

Do some digging and you will find some R series PXIe boards that should do the job for you.
