datalog conversion dialog for v8

The datalog file structure has been changed again with v8 and now there's an automatic dialog that pops-up when using the open/create/replace function.  I'd like to customize that dialog as I will be including this in a deployed application.  Does anyone have any experience with this, preferably an example?

Are you hoping to customize that dialog, or you would like to build your own VI as a popup for users - that is to build your own dialog.  If that's indeed what you want to do, what exactly would you like to customize... what features of your custom dialog are giving you trouble?

Looking forward to your repost.  I'm not sure if I've done what you're suggesting you'd like to do, but I'll try to help you with your questions!
