datamax printer problem

Hello! I'm trying to use a datamax m4206 printer with labview. Using the Print Report VI everything is ok! but I'd like to send command(label lenght and so on) to my printer with VISA. MAX is not able to see it even when I install the correct dirver.I try the procedure creating my .inf file but it doesn't work. any suggestion??????Thanks

Hello Francesca,

unfortunately MAX does not list 3rd party devices like your printer, no matter if you installed its driver or not.

What's the interface (USB, parallel,) for your instrument? If its parallel, you can find more information from the following document:
