deadlock when calling dll from teststand

I have found some similar topics in the forum, but not the solution to my problem.

I am using TestStand 3.1 and LV 2010.

I compiled a VI to a dll function, which has a path control on the front panel.

1.) If I call the VI from TS, I can click on the "browse" button of the control, and it works.

2.) If I call the same VI in dll form from TS, just by right clicking on the step and "run selected steps", it works too.

3.) But, if I run the complete sequence with the dll, and the execution comes to this step and I click on the browse button, TS and LV lock up, I have to kill both and restart.

This is 100% reproducable on my PC, even after restart. Where is the problem?

.. I have tried the same dll in TestStand 2010, there it´s working. Maybe it's just a bug in TS3.1?

Yeah you're right, that was probably a bug in TS 3.1 and was fixed in TS 2010. Please use TS 2010 because for your older TS Version will be no more upcoming updates.

Cheers,

Philip
