delay microseconds

I have a pulsed laser witch send pulses whenever it shoots i want use this pulse like a trigger i want usethis trigger for make measurements but i just want begin the measurment  some microseconds after the laser shoot how i can have this delay. For my expriment this delay must be very precise. I use  a board 6023E this board have potencial to do this kind of expriment.

What kind of measurement do you want to perform after your delay (analog input, counter measurement, frequency, amplitude)?

However, one solution to perform this kind of acquisition is to use a counter which generate a few microseconds pulse after an external trigger (your laser). It is with this pulse that you will trig your measurement.

Thus, you can get your precise delay using the counter.
