deploy IMAQ and Visual Studio 2008

Hi,
I use IMAQ vision developemtn module with visual studio 2008. Everything in regard to deployment is understood and discussed very well. I resorted to that when working with Visual Studio 2008:
  1. I create Windows Installer that registers all dll files (including IMAQ controls)
  2. Install .NET framework

then, I install Vision Runtime engine and setup manually the license.

What I hope to see if it is possible to include the Vision runtime engine in the setup of windows installer in silent mode, moreover, to find something that could retrieve my client information without exposing the IMAQ technology to it.

Hello,

I don't only got the labview cd here. But on it's BIN folder, it's a file named "silent_install.txt". Where you can read how to do a silent install.

But I'm not sure that this can be applied to you.

Well! This is the only help that i can give you.

Hi VBCoder,

Since the Run Time Engine (RTE) needs to be activated I do not think you can do this without some sort of interaction from you customer.  I think the closest you will be able to get will be the file that Jorge Amaral mentioned.  But like he said I don’t really think that it will be able to do what you are hoping.
