desktop pc utility does not run

I am trying to evaluate an SBc for RT suitability which on paper it should be but when I use a USB drive to boot the utilities none of them work. For example the start menu appears bu selecting any option causes no response apart from reset the system or advanced ethernet settings.

Is this case a case of incompatibility before its started evaluating?

Hi Peter,

Please can you look at this KB it describes the system components you need for real-time to run, but also discusses possible reasons why the utilities do not work. Your HDD has to be formatted as FAT32 for the programs to run and work on your system.
