I've used both Labview and VEE.  In my opinion, Labview is much better.  Labview has many built in functions that VEE does not have.  The loops in LV are much more clearly defined and easier to comprehend than VEE.  The LV icons are more descriptive.  VEE icons look like text boxes with a title.  There are many other things that make LV more appealing.  It would take a book to list them all.  But most importantly, more hardware drivers are available in LV than in VEE.

I ran across this thread while tagging last night where Greg McKaskle shared his thoughts.

Hi Partha,

Greg was an active contributor  right up to the pre-release of LV 7.0 when he was asked to put in extra effort to get it out by NI week.

Since then it appears he thinks we can now take care of ourselves.

The good news is he does make visits when required and his posts are still with us! Now if we are really clever and come up with another one of those questions only Greg can answer, we maybe able to trick him into trip over the 2K barier.

Ben
