Hi, Samer,

I think your question is slightly icomplete...

Anyway,

"...A Process is a naturally occurring or designed sequence of changes of properties or attributes of an object or system.
A Library is a collection of information, sources, resources, and services: it is organized for use and maintained by a public body, an institution, or a private individual..."

In fact, could you answer these questions ?

1- when i use "Get Process List.vi" i got an array ouput of "process and Library" names, why there is library names ?

2- when i cretate a process using "Create process.vi" i don't see the process name in the explorator, i just found it in MAX and in variable manager, why ?

3- when i create a shared variable in the process above i just see this variable in the variable manager but i don't see it in MAX, why ?

Thx,

Hi Sameer,

In NI terminologies Deployed Shared Variable "Library" is called as  "Process". This terminology is carried forward from Lookout to Labview DSC.

Thanks,

Vijay Jayabalan.
