Did you mean:

differnt types (different shapes ) of wiper

Have a look at the property node for a dial: scale - scale positon - start.

Make the dial pointer transparent so that you can't see it rotate and place a line decoration over the top. The property node will rotate the scale and the decoration will stay still.

If you can post a version saved for LabVIEW 8.5 I'll take a look.

Hi Ian

I've just seen your post and wondered how you managed to "lose" the numbers on the guage. I can follow your instructions to make the dial transparent but I cant seem to get rid of the numbers/markers.

Regards

Do you mean the wipers gauge?

If so, right click it, select scale, then style, then select the empty box - this will make the numbers and ticks disappear.

Hi Ian

Ignore my post ... I've just realised it's just a case of switching the markers off on the front panel. I was looking for some way to do it in the customisation screen!!

Cheers

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the needle on a guage with a custom graphic? In my case, I really only need it to be an elongated rectangle.

Thanks in advance.
