digital I/O on 6025E

I'm having a small problem with digital I/O on a clients machine.
Since I don't have a 6025E of my own, I can't test my ideas at the
moment, so I am turning to your collective experience to see if I am on
the right track.
I understand that the 6025E has 32 bits of DIO, 8 of which are
similar to the DIO on other E-series, and 24 of which are of the
"Metrabyte" standard. I need to use all 32, configured by ports (all 8
bits in each of the 4 ports are either all input or all output). I
assumed that the first port would be 0, the 2nd port 1, then 2, and 3.
But I get a Daq error when trying to configure port 1. The manual
doesn't specifically mention how the ports map into LabVIEW port
numbers, but in the online help, there was one
smallllll hint that the
ports may be number 0, 2, 3, and 4. Can anyone verify this from
experience?

Thanks,
Dave Thomson

David,

I sent a copy of two vi's I just made to do this communication to your
email address. Your right, the port 1 does not exist.
