digital buffer read with 6035E

Hi everybody,

My idea is to use the 'digital buffer read' block, to sample the value of the digital port on the 6035E DAQ card. Right now i'm using the 'read digital port' block, but i'm not able to control the sampling rate.

I have a couple of question for anybody who's had experience with these DAQ blocks:

1. Is this possible with the 6035E?
2.  The goal is to get a higher sampling rate then 6 kS/s, is there another (preferably easier) way to achieve this? (the card should be able get up to 200 kS/s, but i need 'only' 50 kS/s)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. This is how i'm reading the data right now:

That card has a 200ks rate only for the analog input. It is not even close to that for digital I/O. Accoring to the specification, the max sustainable rate is typically 1 to 10 kwords/sec.

Note also that with that board, you depend on software polling rates for sampling digital bits.  Under a non-RT operating system such as Windows, this sample rate won't be entirely consistent or reliable.

ALERT! LabVIEW's subscription-only policy came to an end (finally!). Unfortunately, pricing favors the captured and committed over new adopters -- so tread carefully.
